Feed Pty Ltd
Terms of service
Last updated 8 October 2026 · Applies to the Feed app and feedapp.co
These terms form an agreement between you and Feed Pty Ltd (ACN 700 563 640) (“Feed”, “we”, “us”) when you access or use the Feed mobile app, website or related services (together, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information and forms part of these terms.
1. Who may use Feed
You must be at least 13 years old to use Feed. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these terms for you. You must be legally able to enter into this agreement and must not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable law.
2. Your account
- You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for protecting your login details and for activity on your account.
- You must tell us promptly at [email protected] if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
- You may not sell, transfer or share your account with another person.
3. Using the Service
Feed lets you log and rate restaurants, save notes and photos, create lists, discover venues and follow other users. Features may depend on your device, location, permissions and the version of the app you use.
You must not use the Service to:
- break the law, infringe another person’s rights, or encourage anyone else to do so;
- post content that is threatening, abusive, hateful, defamatory, deceptive, obscene or unlawfully discriminatory;
- impersonate another person or misrepresent your connection with a person, venue or business;
- harass others, reveal their private information, or upload an image of someone without the permissions required by law;
- send spam, advertising or other unauthorised commercial communications;
- introduce malware, scrape the Service, bypass access controls, or interfere with the Service or another user; or
- create accounts or access data through automated means unless we have agreed in writing.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of the ratings, notes, photos, profile information and other content you submit (“Your Content”). You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt and display Your Content only as needed to operate, secure and improve the Service and make Your Content available according to your privacy settings. We will not use non-public content in external marketing without your permission. This licence ends when Your Content is deleted from our active systems, except where it remains in backups for a limited period or we must retain it by law.
You confirm that you own Your Content or have all rights needed to submit it and grant this licence. You are responsible for Your Content. We may remove or restrict content where we reasonably believe it breaches these terms, infringes rights, creates risk for users or Feed, or must be removed by law.
5. Other users and content
Ratings, reviews and recommendations are personal opinions. We do not endorse or verify user content and are not responsible for decisions you make based on it. Use appropriate care before visiting a venue or acting on information from another user. You can report problematic content by emailing [email protected].
6. Venue and third-party services
Restaurant details, opening hours, prices, menus, availability, dietary information and map data may come from venues, users or third-party providers and can be inaccurate or change without notice. Confirm important details directly with the venue, especially allergy and accessibility information.
The Service may link to maps, booking services, venue websites and other third-party services. Their terms and privacy policies apply when you use them. We do not control and are not responsible for those services.
7. Feed’s intellectual property
We and our licensors own the Service, including its software, design, branding and content other than Your Content. We give you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with these terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse engineer or create derivative works from the Service except where the law does not allow that restriction.
8. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Feed available and reliable, but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access. We may maintain, update, add, change or discontinue features. We will give reasonable notice if a material change adversely affects users, where practical. You are responsible for maintaining a compatible device, software and internet connection.
9. Suspension, termination and deletion
You may stop using Feed at any time and may delete your account through Settings in the app. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially or repeatedly breach these terms, create risk or legal exposure, or if we are required to do so by law. Where appropriate, we will notify you and give you an opportunity to address the issue.
Provisions that by their nature should continue after termination—including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits and dispute provisions—will continue to apply.
10. Consumer rights and disclaimers
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee that recommendations will suit you, that venue or user information will be accurate, or that the Service will always be secure, available or free from errors.
11. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Feed is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, loss of opportunity, loss of data, or damage arising from your reliance on user, venue or third-party content. Where our liability for a failure to comply with a consumer guarantee can lawfully be limited, we may limit our liability, at our option, to supplying the relevant service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again.
These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including liability caused by our fraud, wilful misconduct or gross negligence.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the Service or law changes. The date at the top identifies the current version. If a change materially affects your rights, we will give reasonable notice in the app, by email or through the Service before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You and Feed submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria and courts entitled to hear appeals from them. Before starting formal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us so we can try to resolve the issue, but this does not limit any right to seek urgent relief or use a statutory complaint process.
14. Contact
Questions, complaints or notices about these terms can be sent to [email protected] or by post to Feed Pty Ltd, 2 Brandon Park Drive, Wheelers Hill VIC 3150, Australia.
